America in discussion with Ukrainians have proposed a 30 day ceasefire whilst America resumes full scale arms shipments and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says that the ball is in Russia's court.
This is a non-starter and Russia has diplomatically rejected this proposal by asking 'What is in the ball?' and 'what is the road map for ensuring a sustainable peace?'
All is not bad? The plus side is as unfeasible the suggestion may be, Americans are making a proposal and even Ukraine is making a proposal. The Europeans however did not get their wish for a European peacekeeping force (inserting Western troops with American boots on the ground in Ukraine) nor the demand of a no-fly zone in Ukraine to be patrolled by the West.
Trump is getting a once completely frozen dialogue going, a remarkable achievement. A tribute to his Statesmanship, whacky as it may be in style.
Marco Rubio confessed as did former German Chancellor Angela Merkel and former French President Hollande that America engineered, financed, armed and supported Ukraine to trigger this proxy war by Ukraine on Russia.
Trump is no lover of Ukraine and has only disdain for Zelensky.
Trump's interest is America's interest and well being. He wants this financial, energy and prestige sapping Nymphomaniac called Ukraine to be put to rest. This is vital so that he can get back to restoring America to health and regain global leadership in an ever increasing multipolar world order.
